Meet our Chairwoman

Lucy Owens

Lucy Owens grew up in Anderson where she is now raising her two children. Lucy has been involved in the Anderson Democratic Party for several years and was recently elected Chair.  She is also currently the President of Anderson’s chapter of Climate Reality Project as well as Co-Troop Leader for her daughter’s Girl Scout Troop.

After over a decade providing behavioral therapy for children with autism, she now runs her own cottage home bakery and bartends at a locally owned downtown brewery. Lucy is also honored to be part of the EMERGE South Carolina Class of 2023.
